European Playback Theatre Festival 2012

30th August – 2nd September 2012

Held on the beautiful and historic Dartington Hall Estate, South Devon, the festival will bring together people interested in Playback Theatre from across Europe and beyond. We will celebrate explore how the simple act of coming together, sharing and re-enacting stories through the ritual of Playback Theatre can inspire change, build community and promote social justice.

There will be workshops, discussions and performances, an opportunity to network, to meet with others who share a passion for Playback Theatre.

Submissions are invited from people who would be interested in leading a workshop, hosting a discussion or offering a performance by 31st January 2012.

Conference organised by Mirror Mirror Playback Theatre and Playback Community Theatre South West.

Cost:
Conference fee: £200 (paid before 20/01/2012) : £230 after 20/01/2012, includes all festival programme events, all meals
Accommodation: £75 - £180 (to be paid for at time of booking)

A range of accommodation can be provided, from 5-star quality rooms to budget price rooms. We also have a camping option where tents are provided with airbed, access to toilets and showers, or a simple camping pitch for those wanting to bring their own tent. Full details are on the website.

Bursaries
We are keen to enable a broad and representative range of participants to attend from across Europe. We are offering a small number of bursaries and will be inviting people to make a small donation to the bursary fund with their application.
