Playback Theatre Southwest

Playback Theatre Southwest is run by Amanda Brown and Alison Fairlove. 


Both Amanda and Alison are experienced playback practitioners who have completed extensive training both in this country and abroad.


Playback Theatre Southwest offers a range of training courses for both those interested in learning more about the form of theatre and also for those who have already have experience of playback training.


Playback Theatre Southwest also are available for specialist playback theatre performances.


Building on a long history of working with people with learning difficulties, the company have recently been involved in developing a Playback Company where adults from this community can play out and experience their own stories.

Playback Theatre Workshops
Saturdays in Exeter

 

What:     £30 per session (£50 for two)
When:     4th October and 29th November
Where:    Phoenix Arts Centre, Gandy Street
Time:       1pm - 4pm and 2pm - 5pm

In this workshop you will learn the foundations of this international theatre form and play at the edge of your creative aliveness! Develop skills to spontaneously respond to the stories told, using ensemble and solo improvisation techniques. Playback Theatre benefits many people in the community and celebrates our unity and our diversity.
